About the painting:
She has a subtle confident look about her. Like the bougainvillea, she is resilient. The bougainvillea doesn't thrive if you treat it like most other flowers. It doesn't need your attention. It is enough. And so is she.
The first paint strokes are daunting and satisfying at the same time. Like the first steps of a new journey. Whether it is a new path in life, an inner journey of personal growth, learning a new skill or perhaps doing something you've always wanted to, but that puts you slightly out of your comfort zone. Starting something new can be scary, and sometimes you need a reminder, that like the bougainvillea, you are resilient, you are enough.
