This painting was inspired by a wonderful experience of true sisterhood I had at a women's surf-retreat in Portugal. Women from all walks of life, coming together, with one thing in common: their love for the ocean. Nobody knew each other beforehand, but warm hearts, open minds and no judgement created an embracing and safe space. We all came with our own challenges in life, but everyone left feeling a little more empowered and inspired.
When women support women, amazing things happen.
