Watercolour name print for the nursery with an outdoor adventure theme. The poster features a ram as the symbol for the adventurous zodiac sign Aries, but is suitable for any child who loves outdoor adventures. Come along on a camping trip to explore magical forests and towering mountains, swim in wild rivers, sing by the bonfire and sleep under the stars. The illustration includes a hot-air balloon overlooking mountain tops, a compass to guide our adventure into the wild, a bonfire at the camp-site and fish jumping out of the river next to a kayak.
If your child is an Aries by zodiac sign (March 21 - April 20), the bonfire gets an extra dimension with Aries being a fire sign. Aries are known to have a bold and adventurous personality, and the ram reflects their tendency to face challenges head on. The purple flowers are thistles, a flower associated with Aries, that symbolises strength, protection and determination.
From watercolour to finished print
Each illustration begins by hand with pencil, brush and watercolour. The original painting is then carefully digitised and prepared for print, preserving the delicate textures, brushstrokes and unique character of the original watercolour.
